About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lab Research and Collaboration:
· Find out laboratories based on type of testing, equipment, process and trust to conduct fibre tests demanded by the client and the company.
· Liaise with external laboratories to conduct fibre testing and analysis decided by the product development team.
2. Fibre R&D:
· Conduct research and development activities on agricultural and bast fibres.
· Innovate and improve fibre properties to enhance performance and sustainability.
· Evaluate new fibre materials and technologies for potential application in textile and non-textile products.
3. Fibre Processing SOP:
· Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for fibre processing.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in fibre processing.
· Train and supervise staff on fibre processing techniques and SOPs
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Natural Fibre, Fibre Chemistry, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of natural fibres, fibre chemistry, and textile engineering at the fibre level.
• Experience in fibre processing and development of SOPs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

You'll work closely with our CEO, spearheading our product development, processing, and evaluation of various fibres. you will also be responsible for creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fibre processing and collaborating with external laboratories for testing and analysis.
